This pattern is complete self-indulgence but also an utter joy. Mitts based on CLAMP's design for Code Geass's Knight of Rounds capes. MC can be switched out to create any color variation, though of course the wings should remain yellow. Knitted originally as a gift for a good friend, typed up and formatted by request.

Size:

Women's M

Finished Measurements

Wrist circumference at narrowest point (unstretched): 7 inches
Length: 7.5 inches

Materials/Notions:

DK yarn in blue (MC) and yellow (CC)
4 US #3/3.25 mm double-point needles
4 US #2/2.75 mm double-point needles
Tapestry needle

Gauge:

20 st / 16 rows = 2 inches in stockinette stitch

Pattern Notes:

  • The increases for the thumb gusset can be worked any number of ways, like a simple set of m1 or a combination of m1L/m1R. Use what is easiest and most comfortable. I use k1fb so it won't leave any holes!
  • Knitting abbreviations, for reference
